Voice Synthesizer
A vocabulary list of 330 words carefully
selected for amateur repeater operation is available to construct any
of 20 different voice messages. Each message can be 23 words in length.
Configure your repeater ID and announcements to suit your particular
needs. Chimes, sound effects and salutations in a female voice are
also included. From the base voice message display window, place the
hand on the message cell and double click.
 The
voice synthesizer editor dialog box window will appear. From the base
voice message display window, place the hand on the message cell and

box window will appear. Double click the letters, words and numbers in
the voice word table. 
Control Zones
The CAT-700 has sixty-four remote control
channels divided into groups of eight zones with eight channels each
according to their function. These channels can be manually controlled
through the repeater, telephone, or automatically controlled through
the action of the scheduler. From the BASE ZONE window, place the arrow
on the ZONE TAB of interest and click. The selected zone card will
move to the front of the window and the enabled channels in that zone
will appear with a check mark in the boxes. To change the status of
a control channel in the zone, place the arrow in the desired box and
click.
 Scheduler
To program a scheduled event, from the SCHEDULER
window, place the hand on the TIME cell and double click. The SCHEDULER
POSITION window will appear. Place the hand on the COMMAND cell and
double click. The KEYPAD window will appear. Use the keypad to enter
the COMMAND and click OK.


Control Codes
The control codes are from one to seven digits.
From the REPEATER BASE CODE window, place the hand on the CONTROL OPERATOR
PREFIX cell and double click. A KEYPAD window will appear. All you
do is use the key pad to enter a new control operator prefix code and
click OK.
Repeater Timers
All CAT-700 sixteen repeater timers are easily
programmed with this windows editor. Just point and click.
Print Driver
The CAT-700 Windows Editor Program includes
a print drive to produce a hard copy of the data in the controller’s
memory. Use the printed material to prepare manuals for the system
control operators. From the print driver window, just select the data
blocks you desire to print.

CAT COMM Communications Program
Included with the Windows Editor is a communication
program especially developed to transfer the CAT-700 controller’s
memory.
System Requirements
CAT Editor For Windows requires an IBM® or
compatible PC, 2MB RAM, Microsoft® Windows 98, 2000 NT, or XP and
3MB of hard drive space.
