CAT-200 Set-up
Use the CAT-200 Setup window to define the
serial port and load the editor with default values.
 Control Codes
Use the CAT-200 Control Code window to change
code settings. Clicking on a cell causes the keypad window to appear
so the codes can be changed.
 Timers
Use the CAT-200 Timer window to change the
timer settings. Clicking on a cell causes the keypad window to appear
so the timers can be changed.

Control Zones
The CAT-200 has thirty-two remote control
channels divided into groups of four zones with eight channels each
according to their function. Use this window to set the control functions
of the CAT-200. To change the status of a control channel in the zone,
place the arrow in the desired box and click.
Courtesy Tone and CW Identification
Use this window to select the repeater and
link port courtesy tones and the CD Identifier.
 Voice Messages
A vocabulary list of 334 words carefully
selected for amateur repeater operation is available to construct any
of 12 different voice messages. Each message can be 15 words in length.
Configure your repeater ID and announcements to suit your particular
needs. Place the hand on the message cell and double click. The voice
synthesizer editor dialog box window will appear. Double click the
letters, words and numbers in the voice word table.
 Transfer Data to CAT-200 Controller
Press the data transfer button to up load
the file prepared by the editor into the memory of the CAT-200 controller.
Observe the file transfer progress at the bottom of the CAT-200 Controller
Editor Window.
System Requirements
CAT Editor For Windows requires an IBM® or
compatible PC, 2MB RAM, Microsoft® Windows 98, 2000, NT, or XP
and 3MB of hard drive space.
